Joanne Romann, owner of Yarrow and Thistle, has planted a "Gilded Garden". A lavender shoe transformed into a wheel barrow, is filled with multicolored thistles, berries, leaves and flowers. The shoe sits on a green base surrounded by gold leaves, flowers and thistles. A garden gate guards the entry. Small baskets and pots enhance the garden. The project is signed.

Proceeds from the sale of this one-of-a-kind shoe will help support youth programs sponsored by the Overlake Service League, a non-profit organization, in Bellevue, Washington.
